Description of Requirement: The Contractor shall furnish all services, labor, equipment, supplies, tools and incidentals necessary to perform vibracore sampling, development of drilling logs, laboratory testing of soils, and other services as specified herein. A total of 150 vibracores are to be drilled offshore of Wrightsville Beach, NC, in Onslow Bay and within Banks Channel behind Wrightsville Beach. The general location of vibracores can be found in Figure 1. The vibracores shall be drilled in two phases, as described below in “Statement of Services”. Within the investigation area, the ocean floor elevation ranges from about -10 ft. to -60 ft. MLLW. Results from drilling performed under this SOW will be evaluated by the Wilmington District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to assess in-situ borrow material occurrence, as well as the volume, quality, and suitability for beach fill placement.
