About this opportunity

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Mobile is soliciting comprehensive operations, maintenance, and technical support services for the Joint Airborne Lidar Bathymetry Technical Center of Expertise (JALBTCX). The procurement encompasses furnishing all planning, supervision, administration, labor, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary for surveying, mapping, engineering, and charting operations, including the operation and maintenance of airborne coastal mapping sensors, production of standard surveying and mapping products from collected data, and provision of technical support for airborne coastal operations. Contractors must demonstrate capability to respond simultaneously to multiple work requests at diverse locations within both the contiguous United States and overseas locations. The solicitation anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Single Award Task Order Contract, with individual task orders containing specific scopes of work and funding allocations. The solicitation was posted on May 27, 2025, with proposals due by July 18, 2025.

This opportunity does not utilize any set-aside designations and will be competed under full and open competition. The anticipated contract structure includes a two-year ordering period from the date of award, during which task orders will be issued with individual performance requirements and funding. The primary place of performance is located at 201 St Michael Street, Mobile, Alabama, though the contractor must be prepared to execute work at various CONUS and OCONUS locations as mission requirements dictate. The procurement falls under NAICS code 541370 for Surveying and Mapping Services and PSC code T009 for Aerial Photographic services, reflecting the specialized nature of the airborne coastal mapping and charting capabilities required. While specific contract values are not disclosed in the solicitation notice, the IDIQ structure suggests variable funding levels dependent upon individual task order requirements and mission priorities.
