About this opportunity

The Special Notice is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the World Trade Center (WTC) Health Program, which is administered by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The purpose of this RFI is to gather information on methods for conducting a comprehensive accuracy review of the WTC Health Program's provider network data, with the goal of identifying inaccuracies, providers on legal exclusion lists, and missing provider agreements and documentation.

The primary objective is to analyze the Program's provider network data, determine where there are inaccuracies, identify providers on legal exclusion lists, and make corrections to the data. Additionally, provider agreements will be reviewed to identify missing agreements and documentation gaps. The RFI requests information on industry best practices, recommended datasets for verifying provider data, the complexity and estimated timelines for different review categories, recommended labor categories and effort levels, and the frequency of such reviews. Interested parties are requested to submit a white paper response by April 8, 2024, addressing the specific questions outlined in the RFI. This is an information gathering exercise and not a solicitation for proposals or quotations.
