About this opportunity

Naval Supply Systems Command intends to solicit electrical wire under FAR 6.302-1 (sole-source authority) with a response deadline of September 28, 2026. The Government reserves the right to conduct a competitive procurement based on proposals received; all responsible sources may submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements within 45 days of publication.

The procurement covers 45 feet of electrical wire (NSN 1R-6145-016137549-P8, reference BMS13-48T10C01G018) with delivery FOB origin. Early and incremental deliveries are accepted and preferred. The Government issues all contractual documents—contracts, purchase orders, task orders, delivery orders, and modifications—when deposited in mail, transmitted by facsimile, or sent by electronic means including email; acceptance of the contractor's proposal constitutes bilateral agreement to this method of issuance.

Buy American Act restrictions apply with potential carve-outs under the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements, depending on clauses included in the final solicitation (DFARS 252.225-7036 or 252.225-7021). No set-aside is used.
