About this opportunity
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service, specifically the Pacific Northwest Region (Region 6), has issued a Special Notice for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) Call Order related to stream restoration work in the Willamette National Forest. The notice pertains to a riparian restoration project in the Middle Fork Ranger District, focusing on four specific creek areas: Tire Creek, Armet Creek, Cain Creek, and School Creek. This Special Notice is being published in accordance with the USDA Contracting Desk Book's guidelines for Simplified Acquisition Methods. The project falls under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 115310 for Support Activities for Forestry. It is important to note that this is not a public solicitation, but rather a notification of intent to award a BPA Call order to existing Stream Restoration BPA firms.
The primary objective of this project is to secure services for directionally falling 573 trees using chainsaws across stream channels at three project locations. The Special Notice indicates that a BPA Call Request for Quotes has been issued exclusively to current and applicable Stream Restoration BPA firms. The opportunity is set aside for total small business participation, with a posted date of May 16, 2025, and a due date of May 21, 2025. Eligible contractors must be part of the existing Stream Restoration BPA and fall within the specified NAICS category. The project aligns with the Forest Service's natural resources and conservation efforts, specifically focusing on wildlife management and stream ecosystem restoration. Contractors interested in this opportunity must carefully review the specific requirements and ensure they meet all eligibility criteria for participation in this targeted stream restoration initiative.
