Scope of Work
The purpose of this project is to conduct an asbestos inventory, prepare project design, and conduct final clearance including Phase-Contrast Microscopy (PCM) air monitoring services, and on Abandoned Mine Lands (AML) throughout the White River National Forest.

The asbestos related work is for purposes of demolition, removal, and cleanup activities as part of final restoration.

The State of Colorado requires a Certified Asbestos Building Inspector (CABI) to perform this type of inspection, a Project Designer to determine how much asbestos is required for abatement, and a Certified Air Monitoring Specialist when air monitoring is required for final clearance.

Project Location:

The White River National Forest is the most visited National Forest in the nation

encompassing 2.3 million acres and is managed by the following ranger districts

located in seven (7) counties:

required to reach most locations.  There are no utilities (water, electricity, etc.)

available at these locations.  Wilderness sites may require livestock

(horses/mules) to reach project site.
