This opportunity is available for full and open competition with evaluation factors that give preference to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses then Veteran Owned Small Businesses. This notice for the resurfacing of roadways located in Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics (SORCC) for the Department of Veteran Affairs. The location of the project is in White City, Oregon. This is a general road construction requirement. The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, material, supervision and equipment to resurface roadways in SORCC such as but not limited to: grinding, resurfacing, stripping, and subbase and base support in selected areas. The magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This will be solicited on a Request for Proposal and there will be no public opening. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated to be awarded. The anticipated award date is June 16, 2008. The performance period is expected to be 150 days. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this project is 237310. The Small Business Size Standard is $33.5 Million. After solicitation issuance, contractors may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments at the FedBizOps website. The Primary Point of Contract for this project is Ms. Robert Kolln, Contract Specialist, all questions shall be e-mailed to him at the following e-mail address robert.kolln@va.gov. Subcontractors should not contact the Contracting Specialist. The Government reserves the right to use only the Internet through Fedbizopps for notification of any amendments to this solicitation. It is the offerors responsibility to view the Fedbizopps website daily for amendments to the solicitation and to download their own copy of solicitation and documents. A site visit has been held and questions with answers have been posted to this solicitation. All federal contractors must also report annually to Vets100 at https://vets100.vets.dol.gov.
