About this opportunity
The Naval Supply Systems Command's Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound is soliciting quotations for an 800-ampere alternating current welding machine with accompanying equipment including a runner cart, work cable with clamp, gas hose with fittings, and regulator/flow gauge. This firm fixed-price procurement is structured as a commercial products acquisition under FAR Part 12. The government will evaluate all quotations based on three factors of no particular order of relative importance: technical considerations including delivery date, price, and past performance. Responsible sources may submit quotations without meeting any pre-qualification or product certification requirements. Interested parties must submit questions by March 4, 2026, with the final quotation deadline set for March 6, 2026 at 1:00 PM Pacific Standard Time, and the anticipated award date is February 10, 2026. The solicitation point of contact is Roger Bowers at roger.s.bowers.civ@us.navy.mil or 564-230-2369.
This procurement is designated as a 100 percent total small business set-aside, restricting competition to qualifying small business concerns. The requirement specifies delivery to USS Ronald Reagan CVN 76 in Bremerton, Washington by March 16, 2026, establishing the delivery timeline as a critical evaluation component. No incumbent contractor or budget range has been identified in the available documentation. All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management and must arrange Defense Biometric Identification System base access for delivery purposes. The contractor will be responsible for providing Department of Defense unique item identifiers and reporting associated information at the time of delivery, in compliance with DFARS requirements.
