About this opportunity

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is seeking to renew a contract with WebMD Health Corp (Medscape Education) for the recertification of an existing Continuing Medical Education (CME) activity on the diagnosis and management of West Nile Virus (WNV) infection. The CDC intends to award a sole source contract to WebMD Health Corp. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as Medscape Education already has the module developed with the pertinent information regarding the WNV CME materials. The government is allowing interested parties to identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals by June 19, 2024 at 12:00 PM EST, which the government will consider in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

This requirement is not set-aside. The sole source justification cites urgency, exclusive licensing, and brand name requirement as the rationale. The estimated procurement amount is not provided, but the sole source justification is for a contract under $250,000. Medscape Education is the current incumbent contractor.
