About this opportunity
The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), is hosting a webinar on November 15, 2024, titled "RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs: Understanding the Difference." This training session is part of the OSDBU's First Friday training series, which provides educational sessions covering essential core topics for vendors to navigate the federal procurement landscape. The webinar aims to help small businesses increase their influence by learning how to develop effective responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Requests for Quotes (RFQs).
The purpose of the webinar is to explain the differences between these request types and provide small businesses with the most effective strategies for creating responses. The learning objectives include understanding the power of responding to RFIs and Sources Sought Notices, tips on creating effective responses, and insights from federal contracting officers, as well as information on common mistakes to avoid. The webinar is open to all interested parties, and registration is required. The GSA OSDBU collaborates with GSA mission delivery and support offices to meet and exceed statutory prime and subcontracting small business and socio-economic small business goals, and this webinar is part of their efforts to promote small business access to GSA's nationwide procurement opportunities and provide training.
