Notice text
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ), proposes to enter into a contract on behalf of the Enforcement & Removal Operations (ERO), Denver Field Office, 12445 E. Caley Avenue, Centennial, CO 80111 on a basis of other than full and open competition.
Based on market research conducted by OAQ and ERO, there were other Training Ranges in the area, however, Highland Ranch Law Enforcement Training was the only company capable of providing a secure private facility to conduct law enforcement firearms training/shooting qualifications and practice training within the required 20 miles radius of a trauma center/hospital. OAQ and ERO has completed extensive research and used previous experience to determine other sources for the training need. Based on the market research, there were no other vendors within the 20 miles range of a trauma center in the Denver, CO area-defined as a hospital equipped to handle any level of severity of trauma (gunshot), and has a trauma surgeon on-site 24/7 and an OR ready at all times for critically ill and injured patients.
