About this opportunity
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is conducting market research to identify potential sources that can supply a Weapons Management System (WMS) that meets or exceeds the specifications of the USCG's current system. The USCG is not seeking quotes or proposals at this time, but rather aims to determine the market's capability to provide the required system. Interested vendors are requested to submit information including company details, any quantity discounts, lead time estimates, NAICS code, small business status, GSA schedule status, and government customer references. The sources sought synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, and a formal solicitation announcement will be published on SAM.gov if the USCG decides to proceed with the acquisition.
This opportunity is not set aside for any specific business category. The current WMS is manufactured by Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation (CAGE Code 73030), and potential sources must be able to provide traceability back to the original equipment manufacturer. The USCG has not provided any details regarding the potential award value or quantity of the required system. Responses to the sources sought notice are due by November 13, 2024, at 12:00 PM EST.
