WATERPROOF LOADING DOCK DRIVEWAY, FAA AIR ROUTE TRAFFIC CONTROL CENTER(ARTCC), HILLIARD (JACKSONVILLE), FLORIDA
The work includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Remove the existing loading dock driveway wearing surface. The loading dock wearing surface is a wire mesh reinforced concrete slab measuring approximately 20' x 22' x 4". The loading dock wearing surface is cast in place on top of a five (5) ply membrane and a 10" reinforced concrete slab.
After removing the wearing surface and the membrane, thoroughly clean the existing concrete surface. Inspect the surface for any deterioration and repair accordingly. Assume 175 square feet needs to be patched and approximately 150 linear feet of cracks need to be treated. Use Carlisle products or equal. Install 60 MILS waterproofing membrane (self-adhered rubberized asphalt) over the whole area (approximately 20' x 23'). This area covers the structural concrete deck (approximately 20' x 22') plus one (1) foot into the asphalt roadway (~20'x 1'). Use CCW-MIRASEAL or equal. Extend the waterproofing membrane vertically up on the adjacent walls (three sides). Pour four (4) inch thick 3000 psi wire reinforced concrete wearing surface.
