Added: Oct 31, 2011 6:26 pm Modification to change the Statement of Work from (2) cooling towers, 2,000 tons each to 2 cooling towers represented as one according to data manufacturing plate 3676-A-2. Each cooling tower is 646 tons. Inlet and outlet condensor piping is shared between the two, however you can isolate the individual units for maintenance and inspection. The cooling tower is a Baltimore Air-Coil model # 3676-A-2, Serial number U037716501IMAD.

Added: Oct 27, 2011 12:00 pm A site visit will be held on Monday October 31, 2011 at 9:00 am sharp. All interested vendors should report to the front lobby of the United States Penitentiary located at 9300 S. Wilmot Rd, Tucson AZ, 85756. Added: Oct 26, 2011 11:58 am The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment and expertise to install a water treatment system for two (2) cooler towers at the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC), Tucson, Arizona. The performance period will be thirty (30) calendar days. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 423830. This is a 100% total small business set-aside. The solicitation was available October 26, 2011, with a due date of November 3, 2011. All documents will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. This site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including amendments and Buy American Act information, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
