About this opportunity
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District plans to solicit proposals for a design-build construction contract to renovate the interior of the Voru Kindergarten in Estonia to address unsafe floors, damage to walls, an unsafe electrical system, and inadequate lighting. The anticipated solicitation will require interested contractors to fully reconstruct the electrical system including lighting, level floors and install new flooring, finish interior walls, replace interior doors and sanitary equipment. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management and may direct questions to the points of contact by January 23, 2022, as proposals are due by that date for the renovation planned to begin in 2022.
There is no set-aside designation for this opportunity. The estimated contract value is between $250,000 and $500,000 to be awarded as a firm-fixed-price contract with a one-year period of performance anticipated to be released in late February or early March 2022. The pre-solicitation questionnaire seeks company information from interested local contractors to complete the interior renovation of the 210-student Voru Kindergarten, one of four in the town, to meet safety and sanitary requirements.
