About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command intends to procure one valve diaphragm control assembly (NSN 7H-4820-017072153-PP) under a sole-source procurement authority (FAR 6.302-1), with a response deadline of November 15, 2026.

The requirement is for supplies delivery to DLA Distribution in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. The Government does not own the rights to use technical data needed to purchase or repair this part from alternative sources, and reverse engineering is uneconomical, supporting the sole-source justification.

Responsible sources may submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements to express interest. The Government will consider all proposals received within 45 days of publication (30 days if award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement) but reserves discretion to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses received. Interested parties may also identify within 15 days of this notice their capability to satisfy the requirement with a commercial item; the Government is not applying FAR Part 12 commercial item policies to this solicitation based on market research.
