Update #4 · Latest ·

Maintenance Cycle #18-05 incorporates language changes for ONLY the Misc. Heavy Equipment solicitation template to include the Transport Minimum Daily Guarantee in the calculations for DPL ranking in paragraph D.6.2(c)as follows: (c) Within each small business program category, priority will be given according to the price offered for the type of resource. Mileage will not be considered in the ranking. Priority will be based on a combination of the daily rate plus the transport minimum daily guarantee offered, with the lowest price being ranked highest on the dispatch list:

(1) Feller Bunchers: Daily Rate + Transport Minimum Daily Guarantee

(2) Mulchers/Masticators - Boom Mounted: Daily Rate + Transport Minimum Daily Guarantee

(3) Strip Mulchers/Masticators: Daily Rate + Transport Minimum Daily Guarantee

(4) Road Graders: Daily Rate + Transport Minimum Daily Guarantee

(5) Skidders: Daily Rate + Transport Minimum Daily Guarantee

NOTE: There are no changes in the Vendor Application. Vendors were already required to submit quotes for the Transport Minimum Daily Guarantee Rate for Misc. Heavy Equipment solicitations.

Update #3 ·

This amendment extends the closing date to Friday, March 16, 2018, 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

A NATIONAL AMENDMENT is forthcoming which will correct the DPL formula change in Clause D.6.2(c). The formula change will include both the resource daily rate plus the transport minimum daily guarantee to determine ranking within the DPL.

Update #2 ·

The Department of Agriculture (USDA), US Forest Service (USFS), Pacific Northwest Region 6 (Oregon and Washington) is soliciting quotes (RFQ) for Miscellaneous Heavy Equipment (Feller Bunchers, Mulchers/Masticators, Road Graders, and Skidders) for use during Local, Regional, and Nationwide fire suppression and all-hazard incidents. The Contractor is responsible for all equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, lodging, trained/certified personnel, and supervision and management of those personnel, necessary to meet or exceed the Agreement specifications. The resources may be used in the protection of lands to include, but not limited to, severity, fire suppression, and all-hazard incidents. The agreement will be competitively awarded within Region 6. The Small Business size standard is $19.0 million. Only small businesses (with active SAM account verifying small business status under advertised NAICS 115310) will be considered for award.
