About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Medical Command, through the Medical Readiness Contracting Office – Europe (MRCO-EUR), is seeking qualified sources to provide software license, maintenance, and technical support services for OB/GYN comprehensive patient and exam data management at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC) in Germany. This is a Sources Sought Notice intended for market research purposes only and does not constitute a formal solicitation or commitment to issue an RFP. The contractor must demonstrate capability to provide a scalable ultrasound IT platform that integrates with existing GE Healthcare Viewpoint software, supports 24/7/365 remote technical support in English, ensures compatibility with Microsoft Windows 11 and Windows Server 2019/2022, and complies with HIPAA and Privacy Act requirements. The notice requests interested businesses to submit company information, point of contact details, Unique Entity ID Number, CAGE Code, and a written capability statement acknowledging understanding of the attached Performance Work Statement. Responses must be submitted electronically to demetria.d.figueroa.civ@health.mil no later than January 22, 2026 at 12:00 PM German local time.
No set-aside designations have been applied to this procurement. The notice does not identify any incumbent contractors or current system providers, though integration with existing GE Healthcare Viewpoint software suggests potential continuity considerations. No specific award value or budget range is disclosed in the Sources Sought Notice, and the timeline for contract award or service commencement has not been specified. The Performance Work Statement emphasizes key technical requirements including automatic software updates and patches, comprehensive image and video capture and manipulation capabilities, electronic medical records production, and immediate breach reporting protocols. As this is a preliminary market research phase, interested vendors should focus on demonstrating technical qualifications and understanding of the OB/GYN software requirements outlined in the draft PWS.
