About this opportunity
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Alaska office is seeking video production services to create multiple video "success stories" and training videos. These videos will demonstrate the benefits of NRCS conservation programs and be used for outreach and recruiting future program participants. The videos must cover a diverse range of NRCS programs, conservation practices, land uses, and agricultural production across different geographic regions in Alaska, including remote locations. This is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a 5-year ordering period. Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of Lowest Price Technically Acceptable, and quotes are due by April 11, 2024.
This procurement is set aside for Small Businesses and has no specific budget, but the Tyonek Creek video may require up to 5 site visits and be billed at multiple quantities of the base video rate. The applicable NAICS code is 512110 - Motion Picture and Video Production, and the primary PSC code is V029 - Video Production Services. The place of performance is Alaska, USA, and the work may require travel by plane and/or boat to remote locations off the road system.

Videos will be posted to the NRCS Alaska YouTube channel. NRCS Alaska will disseminate the YouTube video links using a variety of email marketing, website/digital and social media strategies to target audiences. Video topics will be diverse and represent a variety of NRCS programs, conservation practices, land uses, and agricultural production. Video locations will include various geographic regions in Alaska where NRCS has helped landowners implement projects including projects on and off the road system. Projects off the road system will require travel by plane and/or boat. People interviewed will be diverse and include various cultures and communities in Alaska including rural Alaska. NRCS Alaska also needs videos produced to provide training or demonstrate a “how-to” process for field data collection such as how to collect snow survey samples, or how to perform an in-field soil health assessment, for example.
