About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs published a Notice of Intent to Sole Source for support services for the continued deployment and implementation of the nationwide Veterans Health Information Exchange program. The agency plans to award a short-term bridge contract on a noncompetitive basis to IT Concepts, Inc., the incumbent service-disabled veteran-owned small business, to provide these services through April 28, 2024.

The objective is to transition the work to a new competitively procured contract while maintaining support for the VHIE program until then. Interested parties have five calendar days to submit written responses demonstrating their ability to meet requirements and how competition would benefit the government. Responses must include the business' DUNS, TIN, and size certification. The contractor will provide continued program and project management, clinical and health informatics, and outreach expertise to enable the secure sharing of electronic health information with outside providers treating Veterans under the VHIE program and DIRECT messaging projects.
