About this opportunity

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is seeking to procure VH-92A power margin increment 2 rotor blades material and associated labor through a delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-23-G-0002. The agency is allowing interested parties to submit capability statements within fifteen days of the synopsis publication to potentially demonstrate alternative sourcing options. Questions regarding the opportunity should be directed to Donovan Curley via email, with small businesses interested in subcontracting opportunities advised to contact Deborah Zacharias at Lockheed Martin.

This procurement is not set aside for any specific business category and will be executed under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, which allows for a non-competitive acquisition when only one responsible source can satisfy agency requirements. Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, a Lockheed Martin company, is currently positioned as the sole source contractor for this effort. While specific award values are not disclosed in the synopsis, the procurement is focused on manufacturing rotary wing aircraft components, specifically rotor blades for the VH-92A presidential helicopter program. The opportunity is categorized under NAICS code 336411 for Aircraft Manufacturing and PSC code 1520 for Rotary Wing Aircraft. The key dates for this opportunity include a synopsis posting on April 30, 2025, with responses to be considered through May 15, 2025.
