About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force has issued a Special Notice regarding the proposed renewal of VBrick Software and related support services. This notice, posted on March 11, 2026, announces the Air Force's intention to negotiate with a single source for this contract award in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provisions. The procurement is classified under the IT and Telecom category, specifically for business application software with perpetual licensing. The work falls within the "Other Computer Related Services" NAICS classification. This is not a formal solicitation but rather a notification of the proposed contract action.
The Air Force intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract to Video Dynamics Inc for the provision of VBrick Software and Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) support services. The notice is published under FAR 5.201(b)(1), which permits single-source negotiations when justified under 10 USC 2304(c)(1). The expedited timeline requires any interested parties to submit responses or challenges by March 12, 2026, the day following the posting date. No set-aside provisions apply to this procurement, meaning all eligible contractors may express interest. This represents a renewal of existing software licensing and support rather than a new service initiative, with the contract structured as a fixed-price agreement to manage cost and scope expectations.
