About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation anticipates issuing a solicitation for a regulating valve (NSN 7R-1680-015256162-V2) by July 22, 2026, with a requirement for 152 units, delivery FOB origin. This is a sole-source procurement restricted to Government-approved sources only.

The item is flight-critical and subject to source control under DoD-STD-100. The Government has determined that suitable technical data, data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from or qualification of alternate sources, and the technical data package is inadequate to support full and open competition. Only sources previously approved by the Government have been solicited.

Unapproved sources may submit a proposal only if accompanied by source approval information as detailed in the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Source Approval Information Brochures for spares or repair (available at navsup.navy.mil/NAVSUP-Enterprise/NAVSUP-Weapon-Systems-Support/Business-Opps/). Offerors must provide technical data based on company experience producing the same or similar item, or—if this is the first such production—data demonstrating capability. If source approval is currently under NAVSUP WSS evaluation, offerors must include a copy of the cover letter forwarding the approval request with their proposal. Offers lacking complete required data will be rejected.

The PSC code is 1680 (Miscellaneous Aircraft Accessories and Components). No set-aside applies.
