About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure one valve (Press Reg) identified by NSN 7H-4820-016420268-D4, TDP VER 002, with delivery FOB Origin. This is a non-competitive procurement action being pursued under FAR 6.302-1 authority, meaning the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source. However, all responsible sources are invited to identify their interest and capability or submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements within 45 days of the notice publication date (or 30 days if award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement). The Government does not own the data or rights necessary to purchase this part from alternative sources and has determined that both acquiring the data and reverse engineering would be uneconomical. Technical specifications and related documentation can be obtained through the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) at the Document Automation and Production Service in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, or through the ASSIST-Online system. The primary evaluation will focus on responsive and responsible sources capable of meeting the Government's technical and delivery requirements.
This procurement carries no set-aside designation and involves a one-time purchase of a single unit with no identified incumbent contractor or current contract references in the notice. No award value or budget range is specified in the pre-solicitation notice. The notice was posted on March 21, 2023, with a due date of February 3, 2026, providing an extended timeframe for interested parties to prepare their responses. Potential contractors should note that patterns, drawings, deviation lists, and purchase descriptions are not available through standard DODSSP channels and must be requested separately or obtained through alternative means. Interested parties without internet access may contact the DODSSP ASSIST Help Desk by telephone or submit requests by mail to the Document Services office in Philadelphia.
