About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is soliciting quotes for the procurement of linear direct valves under a firm-fixed-price contract structure. This solicitation operates under Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities (EAF) and includes standard federal acquisition clauses covering item identification, inspection requirements, delivery terms, small business subcontracting plans, and supply chain security provisions. The procurement requires government source inspection and bilateral award execution with written contractor acceptance prior to contract finalization. Vendors must verify nomenclature, part numbers, and National Stock Numbers before responding to ensure compliance with specifications. The solicitation has undergone multiple deadline extensions, with the final quote submission deadline established as September 2, 2025, following previous extensions to July 23, 2025 and August 11, 2025.

This procurement does not utilize any small business set-aside designations and operates as a full and open competition. The solicitation specifies FOB Origin shipping terms, meaning contractors bear responsibility for transportation costs to the delivery point. The contract includes a delivery requirement of 180 days and falls under the Other Metal Valve and Pipe Fitting Manufacturing NAICS category (332919) with a corresponding PSC classification of 4810 for Powered Valves. The procurement carries a national defense priority rating, indicating its importance to defense readiness and emergency preparedness programs. While specific award values are not disclosed in the available documentation, the solicitation requires contractors to provide firm unit prices and total contract pricing as part of their quote submissions.
