About this opportunity

Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime intends to solicit an Indefinite Delivery Contract for linear direct valves (NSN 4810-01-607-7882) and is seeking qualified sources by August 14, 2026. Two approved sources are currently identified: Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (CAGE 78286, Part Number 70310-03104-103) and Transdigm Inc (CAGE 96124, Part Number 512900-3). The part carries AMC/AMSC designation "1C," requiring engineering source approval by the design control activity; existing unique design capability and manufacturing knowledge held by approved sources are essential to maintaining part quality, and data or knowledge is not economically available to the Government. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with design control activity procedures as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity.

The proposed IDC structure includes a three-year base period with potential for up to four option years, with delivery orders issued as needed against negotiated pricing and terms. The contract will guarantee a minimum order value with estimated quantities based on previous and forecasted demands. DLA is soliciting market research data regarding commercial equivalents, pricing documentation, drawings, catalogs, and sales history to support competitive acquisition determinations. Respondents should confirm interest in pursuing the contract, acceptance of contract terms, availability for option periods, delivery lead times, and acceptance of guaranteed minimum percentages (1–10 percent of forecasted annual demand). Contact Caitlin Ferry, Contract Specialist, DLA Weapons Support, at caitlin.ferry@dla.mil or (614) 693-9882.
