About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is seeking to procure a Valve, Fuel Pressurizing component with National Stock Number (NSN) 2915-00-896-0173, classified under Aircraft Engine and Engine Parts Manufacturing. This acquisition falls under the Engine Fuel System Components category for aircraft and missile prime movers, indicating the component is critical for military aircraft fuel system operations. The solicitation SPRTA1-26-Q-0027 for PR 26-00142 has received a synopsis waiver exception under FAR 5.202(a)(13) because the procurement amount is not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. The complete solicitation package will be made available through the Government-wide Point of Entry (GPE), and offerors will be permitted to respond electronically via email. The due date for responses is October 17, 2025, providing potential contractors with a 15-day response window from the posting date of October 2, 2025.

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations, making it available to all qualified contractors regardless of small business status or socioeconomic classifications. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the pre-solicitation notice. While specific award values are not disclosed, the solicitation indicates that the procurement amount will remain below the simplified acquisition threshold, which suggests a contract value under $250,000 for most federal agencies. The notice does not specify quantities of valves required or delivery timelines, though these details will likely be provided in the complete solicitation package once released through the GPE. The procurement focuses on a single, specific fuel system component identified by its unique NSN, indicating this may be either a one-time purchase or a requirements-based contract for ongoing supply needs.
