About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure 3 units of a specific valve flow control part (NSN 7H-4820-015252684) with Technical Data Package Version 002. The procurement is unique in that the part must be acquired from or repaired by a source specified on source control or selected item drawings, as defined by DoD-STD-100. The government currently lacks suitable technical data, government data rights, or manufacturing/repair knowledge to permit acquisition or repair by alternative sources. Interested parties have 45 days from the publication date to submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements, with the government reserving the right to negotiate with a single source under FAR 6.302-1. Proposals will be evaluated based on the ability to meet specific technical and sourcing requirements, with the government maintaining sole discretion in determining competitive procurement.
The contract opportunity is proposed as a 100% small business set-aside, with potential specific designations including HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned, or Women-Owned Small Business programs. While no specific award value is disclosed, the procurement involves a minimal quantity of 3 units with delivery FOB origin. The solicitation is subject to potential Free Trade Agreements and Buy American Act provisions, as indicated by potential DFARS clauses 252.225-7036 and 252.225-7021. Interested parties can obtain technical specifications and standards through the DoD Single Stock Point at Document Automation and Production Service in Philadelphia, with documents primarily available through ASSIST-Online or by contacting their help desk. The government has determined that commercial item acquisition policies will not be used for this specific procurement.
