About this opportunity
The Naval Supply Systems Command intends to solicit a sole-source contract for 15 check valves (NSN 3H-4820-011081854-L1, TDP VER 018) with a response deadline of August 24, 2026. The Government has determined it is uneconomical to acquire the technical data or rights necessary to purchase or repair this part from additional sources, and reverse engineering is not economical; the contracting action is authorized under FAR 6.302-1 sole-source procedures.
Delivery is FOB origin. All responsible sources may submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements. The Government will consider all proposals received within 45 days of this notice (or 30 days if award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement); a determination not to compete is solely within Government discretion. Interested parties may also identify their capability to satisfy the requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of publication.
The Government did not apply FAR Part 12 commercial-items policies based on market research.
