About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime intends to solicit an Indefinite Delivery Contract for a check valve (NSN 4820-01-145-5907, Part Number 458-50004-503), with a market survey questionnaire due by June 10, 2026. No set-aside applies.

The valve is sourced under a source-controlled drawing (Basic Drawing NR 82918 458-50004, Revision J, dated September 26, 1986) with two currently approved sources: Meggitt (CAGE 79318) and Bahr Machine Company (CAGE 75201). The part must meet all requirements of the cited drawing, and prospective suppliers interested in qualifying alternative sources must contact the cognizant design activity specified on the drawing. The contract structure will operate as an indefinite delivery contract with a three-year base period and potential option periods up to four years, with delivery orders issued on an as-needed basis.

The Government is conducting market research to establish pricing, terms, conditions, and IDC structure preferences. The market survey questionnaire seeks responses on general company information, commercial distribution networks, commercial item determination, sales history and pricing documentation, certified cost and pricing data requirements, preferred IDC structure, and delivery capabilities including maximum quantities, minimum order quantities, and lead times. Respondents may provide quantity/price breaks and supplementary information relevant to solicitation development. Responses must be submitted within seven business days. Karin Wilson, Contracting Officer at DLA Land and Maritime, is the primary point of contact at (614) 693-3206 or karin.wilson@dla.mil. Proprietary and confidential information submitted will be protected and used only for price reasonableness determination.
