About this opportunity
Naval Supply Systems Command intends to solicit a sole-source contract for a valve assembly (NSN 7H-4820-015450819-L1, TDP VER 005) with a quantity of 3 units, FOB origin, and a deadline for expressions of interest by July 10, 2026.
The Government determined sole-source procurement appropriate under FAR 6.302-1 because it does not own the data or rights to the data required to purchase or repair this part from additional sources, and it is uneconomical to buy those data rights or reverse-engineer the part. All responsible sources may submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements; proposals received within 45 days of the notice publication (or 30 days if award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement) will be considered. The Government reserves discretion to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses received.
Interested parties may also identify capability to satisfy the requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of the notice. The Government is not using FAR Part 12 commercial-item acquisition policies for this procurement based on market research.
