Quotes are due by February 21, 2025, at 3:00 PM EST, and while specific evaluation criteria are not detailed, the solicitation indicates compliance with Davis-Bacon Act wage requirements, EPA regulations, and safety standards will be critical. Contractors must be prepared to execute work on weekdays between 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM.
The contract is a total small business set-aside with a project magnitude less than $25,000.00, making it an attractive opportunity for smaller roofing contractors. The work will take place at Harrison Lake National Fish Hatchery, located at 11110 Kimages Road in Charles City, VA 23030, with the Hatchery Manager Rachel Mair serving as the site visit point of contact. The project falls under NAICS category 238160 for Roofing Contractors and PSC category Z1JZ for Maintenance of Miscellaneous Buildings.
