About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Digital Infrastructure Fielding Flight (DIFF), intends to solicit standardized server rack installation kits, Power Distribution Units, and 10-Gigabit Small Form-factor Pluggable optical transceivers to support enterprise-wide fielding of the Voltron+ capability across designated Priority 4, 5, and 6 Enterprise Sites, with a response deadline of September 4, 2026. This procurement carries a Total Small Business set-aside.

The acquisition is structured as a Brand Name or Equal procurement. Line Item 0001 covers 30 standardized Voltron+ rack kits. Each kit includes an APC NetShelter SX Server Rack Enclosure (part number AR3100TAA or equal) with 42U height, standard 19-inch width, EIA-310 compliance, and Trade Agreements Act compliance; APC 2G Metered Rack PDUs (part number AP8841 or equal) with 0U vertical mounting, 30A current rating, 200V/208V input voltage, and at least 36 outlets; and supporting optical transceiver infrastructure. Surveyed environments require specific power distribution, 14 Rack Units per instance of rack space, and single-mode optical network connectivity standards. The Voltron+ initiative mandates deployment of one NIPR and one SIPR network hardware stack at each designated site. The identified manufacturer part numbers represent the minimum performance and compatibility standards for integration with existing Voltron+ stack configurations.

1.0 Description of Requirement

The Department of the Air Force, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Digital Infrastructure Fielding Flight (DIFF), managed by the HNC-D Program Office, has a requirement for the procurement of standardized server rack installation kits, standalone Power Distribution Units (PDUs), and 10-Gigabit Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP+) optical transceivers.

This infrastructure hardware is required to support the enterprise-wide fielding of the Voltron+ (V+) capability across designated Priority 4, 5, and 6 Enterprise Sites. The Voltron+ initiative mandates the deployment of one NIPR and one SIPR network hardware stack at each designated site. Surveyed environments require these infrastructure enhancements to meet specific power distribution, rack space (14 Rack Units per instance), and single-mode optical network connectivity standards.

This acquisition is for a Brand Name or Equal procurement. The identified manufacturer part numbers represent the minimum performance and compatibility standards required by the government to integrate with existing Voltron+ stack configurations.
