About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is seeking to procure four Ultrasonic Test Calibration Blocks through solicitation SPMYM225Q2230. The procurement consists of two distinct types of precision-engineered calibration standards: four HVL CUNI - 70/30 calibration blocks made of 70/30 Copper-Nickel alloy measuring 1.000" W x 2.000" H x 14.000" L with nine 3/64" side-drilled holes, and four HVL CS - HY 80 calibration blocks measuring 1.250" W x 3.250" H x 15.500" L with ten-degree tapers and eight 0.047" side-drilled holes. Contractors must submit manufacturer specifications with their bids and provide dimensionally verified and certified calibration blocks that meet the technical requirements of T9074-AS-GIB-010/271. For responsive bids, contractors must submit signed and completed solicitations via email to kelli.monaco@dla.mil or fax, and must check applicable boxes in clause 52.204-24 (2)(d) (1) and (2). No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the solicitation documentation. While no specific contract value or budget range is disclosed, the procurement involves manufacturing eight total calibration blocks across the two line items. The calibration blocks must be manufactured to precise dimensional tolerances and surface finish requirements, with scanning surfaces requiring 125 Ra roughness and other surfaces requiring 63 Ra roughness. Performance will take place at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington, where the completed calibration standards will be delivered. Contractors working on non-Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) items must comply with NIST SP 800-171 requirements and maintain current assessments as detailed in DFARS 252.204-7019.
