About this opportunity
The Military Sealift Command is seeking technical services to support the navigation, SOLAS, and voyage data recorder systems during the Final Contract Trials (FCT) of the USNS CODY (T-EPF 14) vessel. The required services include inspection, operational testing, and support for the ship's systems during the FCT Mock Trial on 16-20 December 2024 and the FCT Test with INSURV on 5-10 January 2025. The services must be provided by an experienced Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) representative from Northrop Grumman (Sperry). Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. Quotes are due by 2:00 PM EST on 30 October 2024 and should be submitted via email.
This is a firm-fixed price contract with no commercial financing or small business set-aside. Northrop Grumman (Sperry) is identified as the sole source for the required OEM technical services. The contract is expected to be under the simplified acquisition threshold. The period of performance is 3 days pier-side and 1 day underway during each trial event, to be performed at JEB-Little Creek in Virginia Beach, VA.
