Description:  THIS IS A SYNOPSIS NOTICE ONLY.  This is not a solicitation or request for quote or proposal and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice.  USNS BURLINGTON (T-EPF 10) is tentatively scheduled for a Mid-Term Availability (MTA) ship repair availability beginning 01 November 2022, with a performance period of 66 days.  The USNS BURLINGTON (T-EPF 10) has length of 337.9 ft, a Beam of 93.5 ft, a Draft of 12 ft 8.5 in, and is 2,500 tons. The purpose of this notice is to inform all potential offerors that Military Sealift Command (MSC) will be releasing a RFP on/or about 28 April 2022. Duration of the contract period: 01 November 2022 with a performance period of 66 days

    2. Upon issuance, the solicitation and supporting documentation will be posted and can be found on SAM.gov website (https://www.sam.gov/) under solicitation number N3220522R4072. All requests must provide Dun and Bradstreet number and Cage Code.
    3. Technical data for the solicitation may be obtained by contractor submitting Attachment J-14 Technical Data Nondisclosure to the Contract Specialist after solicitation is posted. Technical data will be posted to the following website https://piee.eb.mil/.  Potential contractors will receive information on how to download technical data once contract specialist has received contractor’s Technical Data Nondisclosure.

The decision to set aside this procurement as 100% small business set-aside was made resulting from Market Research.  There were two responses by small businesses with regards to the sources sought that was publicly posted on SAM.gov. MSC Small Business office is in concurrence with the contract specialist decision to synopsize/solicit this procurement as 100% small business set-aside.
