THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR OFFERS OR PROPOSALS. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INTERESTED FIRMS OR CONTRACTORS TO SUBMIT THEIR CREDENTIALS. THIS NOTICE DOES NOT REPRESENT A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION OR AWARD A CONTRACT. INFORMATION RECEIVED WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE THE AVAILABILITY OF TECHNICALLY CAPABLE AND OTHERWISE RESPONSIBLE FIRMS THAT WOULD BE INTERESTED IN SUBMITTING OFFERS FOR THIS ANTICIPATED SOLICITATION. THE PURPOSE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS TO IDENTIFY AVAILABLE SOURCES ONLY.
This is a survey of the market of potential small businesses that are SBA certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). In response to this announcement, please provide the following: Business Name, Business Address, Contact Phone Number/Email and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Firm Status.
The United States District Court is seeking sources for Construction Services for the renovation of Senior Judge's Chambers and Courtroom 1376 located in the Earle Cabell Federal Building, 1100 Commerce Street, Dallas, Texas. The renovation includes demolishing the existing chambers and developing two new private judges' chambers. The existing chamber is to be completely demolished. There shall be (2) new private judge's chambers each with the following support spaces: Senior judge's chambers, judge's powder room with small coat closet, (2) law clerk offices, (1) break room, (1) conference room (shared space), (1) print/supply room (shared space).
In accordance with FAR 36.206, disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the construction cost of magnitude is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $35.5 Million. It is anticipated that this project will take approximately 410 days to complete. All offerors are advised that this project may be revised or canceled at any time during the sources sought, synopsis, solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and final award.
Firms responding to this Sources Sought shall address the following:
(1) It is requested that interested SDVOSB firms submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 5 pages in length, demonstrating the ability to perform the requested work.
(2) Relevant experience: Provide 3 projects to include experience in similar size and scope performed within the last five years. At least one project must include Courtroom and/or Chambers renovation experience. Include whether the project was performed as a prime or sub-contractor, value, square footage of project and a brief description of how the project relates to the technical work required described herein.
(3) Statement regarding bonding capabilities.
All interested firms will be required to register in the Government's System for Award Management (SAM)-www.sam.gov.
Interested parties shall respond to this Sources Sought Synopsis no later than 2:00PM CST on August 17, 2017.
