About this opportunity

The U.S. Coast Guard Program Executive Officer for Robotics and Autonomous Systems has issued a Special Notice announcing a Virtual Industry Day focused on Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) scheduled for August 28, 2025, from 1:00-3:00 PM ET. This notice serves as a save-the-date announcement and is explicitly not a solicitation for proposals, with no contracts to be awarded from this special notice. The event represents a follow-on engagement to a previously published Request for Information that outlined the Coast Guard's C-UAS needs. The virtual industry day will be conducted via Microsoft Teams and will include both a general session and opportunities for one-on-one meetings with potential vendors. All interested parties are required to monitor SAM.gov for future updates regarding this opportunity.

The primary objective of this industry engagement is to facilitate dialogue between the Coast Guard and industry regarding rapidly deployable and adaptable C-UAS solutions for fixed, mobile, and temporary deployments to secure critical infrastructure and high-profile events. Interested vendors must register for the event by 1500 ET on August 25, 2025, using a provided registration link. One-on-one virtual meetings will be available from September 2-5, 2025, with approximately 24 time slots of 35 minutes each scheduled for individual vendor sessions. The initiative focuses on implementing a holistic approach to Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems throughout the Coast Guard service, with particular emphasis on securing venues for events like the 2026 FIFA World Cup and 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Questions may be submitted in advance and will be consolidated and publicly posted on SAM.gov, with the Coast Guard potentially identifying vendors with relevant technological capabilities for further exploration and possible product demonstrations.
