About this opportunity

The United States Coast Guard is seeking contractors to provide termite treatment and monitoring services at USCG Station Grand Isle located at 453 Admiral Craik Drive, Grand Isle, Louisiana. The procurement requires comprehensive termite protection including liquid treatments, bait stations using the Sentricon Colony Elimination System, trenching and treating foundations with Termidor SC, foaming wall voids, and preventative measures for the main building and UPH Berthing Structure. Contractors must possess valid exterminator licenses, provide safety data sheets for all chemicals, and deliver services within 60 days after contract award. The evaluation will be conducted using lowest price methodology, where the lowest price quote will be evaluated for technical acceptability first, and if found unacceptable, the next lowest price will be evaluated in sequence until an acceptable offer is identified. The solicitation was posted on September 17, 2025, with quotes due by September 26, 2025, and contractors are strongly encouraged to conduct site visits by contacting Engineering Petty Officer MKC Shawn Bissinger.

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified contractors. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are mentioned in the solicitation materials. The contract includes a 5-year service agreement requiring bait monitoring twice per year and annual termite inspections, with all work to be performed during normal Coast Guard operating hours of 7:30am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. The contractor must coordinate with the Contracting Officer's Representative and adhere to strict security protocols including restrictions that only American citizens may work at the facility and no firearms are permitted on site.
