About this opportunity
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking to procure name tapes and badges for PSU 307 through a Request for Quotation (RFQ) with solicitation number 70Z08425PDL940026. The procurement encompasses approximately 3,840 uniform name tapes and associated badges, including sew-on and hook-and-loop name tapes, U.S. Coast Guard black embroidered patches, rank insignias, and specialized badges for Coxswain, Boat Force Operations, Port Security, and Tactical Law Enforcement personnel. Offerors must submit their quotes via email to Contract Specialist Chris Columbres and Contracting Officer Jonny Ochoa by May 15, 2025, at 09:00 AM Pacific Time, with any questions to be submitted no later than May 9, 2025. The government will evaluate quotes based on technical capability, compliance with the Scope of Work, contractor personnel qualifications, and cost-effectiveness, with a focus on the lowest-priced technically acceptable proposal. Quotes must include a completed FAR Provision 52.212-3 with Alternate I, which can be prepared online at SAM.gov.
The solicitation is designated as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 314999, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The contract will be a firm fixed-price type, with unit prices to be determined by multiplying quantities by proposed unit prices. Delivery will be made to 15300 Fairchild Drive in Clearwater, FL 33762, with the PSU 307 point of contact responsible for providing a detailed list of names and ranks after contract award. The current estimate suggests approximately 200 personnel, with an allocation of 4 sew-on name tapes and 2 hook-and-loop name tapes per person for Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP) uniforms. While specific award values are not explicitly stated, the solicitation indicates a comprehensive procurement of uniform identification materials for the Coast Guard unit. The government reserves the right to conduct site inspections and request additional documentation to verify contract requirements.
