About this opportunity

The Department of Homeland Security US Coast Guard has awarded a sole-source task order modification to ITC Federal under solicitation 70Z02322FCGA00002 (Mod P00015) for IT hardware and supplies supporting the US Coast Guard Academy .edu domain environment, including Dell Pro 14 Plus laptops, Cisco Catalyst 9200 switches, Dell Pro Max Tower workstations, Cisco wireless access points, LG digital displays, and ScreenBeam collaboration receivers. The award date is August 11, 2026.

The justification cites FAR 16.507-6(b)(2), arguing that only one awardee is capable of providing the required supplies at necessary quality levels due to highly specialized technical requirements, severe time constraints tied to uncertain funding, and the unique operational configuration of the Academy's .edu domain environment. The modification is funded through Fiscal Year 2026 Operations and Support appropriations under the parent contract 70Z02322FCGA00002, a competitively awarded vehicle under DHS's mandatory strategic sourcing platform VETS2, with performance ending May 8, 2027. Market research encompassed existing Coast Guard contracts, DHS Strategic Sourcing Vehicles, GSA Advantage, NASA SEWP, and commercial catalogs. ITC Federal is located in Fairfax, Virginia. The contracting officer determined proposed prices fair and reasonable using commercial catalog pricing analysis. The Coast Guard intends to pursue a competitive follow-on procurement consolidating core services and hardware acquisition to establish a pre-competed contract for future Academy requirements.
