About this opportunity
This Special Notice is a Cancellation Notice issued by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Jordan mission regarding the USAID/Jordan Fiscal Empowerment and Continuous Harmonization of Public Financial Management for Optimized Economic Growth (FISCAL-ECHO) Project. The Special Notice informs stakeholders that USAID/Jordan has cancelled the planned FISCAL-ECHO project and removed it from the agency's Business Forecast.
The purpose of the original Request for Information (RFI) was to gather stakeholder feedback on priorities, strategies, and counterpart organizations for the FISCAL-ECHO project, which aimed to promote economic growth through improved fiscal policies and public financial management in Jordan. The RFI had an initial deadline of November 8, 2023, which was later extended to November 16, 2023. The RFI responses were not to constitute offers or form a binding contract, and USAID/Jordan would not provide answers to any questions posed in response to the RFI. Prospective respondents are now advised to monitor the U.S. Government-wide point of entry GPE, the System for Award Management (SAM) website, or www.grants.gov for any upcoming opportunities related to this or similar initiatives.
