About this opportunity
USAID/Cambodia seeks an implementing partner to provide localization support services under a new planned activity. The selected partner will assist the Mission in improving local partnerships, conducting monitoring and evaluation, and strengthening the capacity of local actors in Cambodia. Services include a partner landscape analysis, outreach, translation assistance, and capacity development support. Interested parties must respond to five questions in the RFI by November 20, 2023 at 4:00 pm Phnom Penh time to inform the activity's scope of work. The draft scope outlines services to be provided in three categories to help USAID/Cambodia further the Agency's localization goals and contribute to its 2020-2025 Country Development Cooperation Strategy.
There is no set-aside designated for this opportunity. The activity aims to provide flexible, demand-driven services over an undefined performance period to support the Mission's efforts to ensure local actors lead Cambodia's development. The RFI does not specify potential award values or budgets but seeks an implementing partner to effectively deliver services that strengthen partnerships and the capabilities of local organizations in Cambodia.
Notice text
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID)/Cambodia hereby issues an RFI regarding a new planned activity “USAID/Cambodia Localization Support” to support USAID/Cambodia efforts to ensure that local actors are leading Cambodia’s development. Primary services under the prospective activity will cover the three categories: support for Mission staff to improve local partnership; monitoring, evaluation and learning; and capacity strengthening for local actors. These services will assist the Mission in contributing to the Agency’s localization agenda and indicators. These efforts align with the goal of USAID/Cambodia’s 2020-2025 Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS): “Cambodia becomes a more open, prosperous, resilient, and inclusive partner in the Indo-Pacific region.”
