About this opportunity

USAID/Central Asia published a Special Notice to increase the ceiling of its Trade Central Asia Activity contract by $15 million. The agency intends to add supplemental funding through this ceiling increase to mitigate the effects of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on the economies and people of Central Asia.

The purpose of the ceiling increase is to provide additional resources for contractors to implement programs that counteract negative economic impacts resulting from the conflict. Contractors must submit proposals by September 14, 2022 to be eligible for new task orders or modifications under the expanded scope of work. There is no set-aside designation, so all contractors may participate. The funding will support ongoing initiatives to strengthen regional trade integration and economic cooperation in Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries during this time of economic disruption and instability.
