About this opportunity
USAID/Cambodia is developing the USAID Employ initiative to equip Cambodians with job skills tailored for sectors driving economic growth and diversification. Through local partners, USAID Employ will prepare the workforce for future jobs emphasizing science, technology, innovation, and areas like the green economy and manufacturing. USAID seeks recommendations on strategies and interventions through a Request for Information due August 15, 2024 to inform a subsequent solicitation issued in early 2025.
There is no set-aside for this procurement. As the initiative focuses on workforce development, relevant NAICS and PSC codes could include educational services, job training, and workforce development. Given Cambodia's needs and USAID's priorities, this multi-year program will likely require a budget in the millions to impact populations nationwide through local organizations and training facilities.
