About this opportunity
The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA), located in Colorado Springs, CO, is conducting market research to identify potential sources for an advanced Electroencephalograph (EEG) system. The agency seeks a comprehensive EEG solution that includes a pre-assembled port video electroencephalographic acquisition device with automatic seizure detection capabilities, along with specific technical requirements such as calibration waveform checks, ECG artifact elimination, and impedance checking. Interested parties are required to submit a capabilities package by December 20, 2024, at 2:00 PM Mountain Standard Time, detailing their business size, socioeconomic status, Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), CAGE Code, and System for Award Management (SAM) expiration date. The market research aims to determine the availability and adequacy of potential business sources in providing the specified EEG system capabilities. Respondents must demonstrate technical capability to meet the requirement and provide an authorized reseller letter if they are not the manufacturer.
The Sources Sought notice does not have a specific set-aside designation and is open to businesses of all sizes, with a particular interest in small business participation. No funding is currently available for this effort, and the notice does not constitute a solicitation for bids or quotations. The required EEG system must include detailed hardware specifications, such as a full motion digital camera with HDTV 1080p capabilities, acquisition and review stations with 12th generation Intel i7 processors and 16GB RAM, and a database server with 24TB storage capacity. The system must be compatible with DHA/DoD networks and include features like Full HD monitors with IPS Panel Technology and remote access capabilities through a virtual server. Potential vendors should note that this is a market research exercise, and responding to the Sources Sought notice does not guarantee future participation in any subsequent solicitation.
