About this opportunity

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission in Uganda has issued a Special Notice seeking to understand the local partner landscape and identify potential new local partners that could contribute to USAID's in-country programs. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to deepen USAID's commitment to locally led development by gaining a better and more complete understanding of the pool and composition of local organizations in Uganda.

The RFI outlines multiple technical areas of interest, including agriculture, market systems, anti-corruption, governance, education, child and youth programming, tourism, environment, private sector development, health, digital development, humanitarian response, research, organizational development, and communications. USAID is requesting information from interested local organizations regarding their registration status, technical expertise, reach, grant management capacity, and previous donor funding. The RFI provides a stakeholder engagement schedule for regional roadshows, and responses are due by the specified dates for each region. USAID will not individually acknowledge or provide feedback on the submissions.
