About this opportunity

The General Services Administration (GSA) Public Buildings Service is seeking to lease office space in Jacksonville, Florida for the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS). The procurement requires approximately 710-1,095 square feet of office space with specific geographical constraints, preferably located south and east of Jacksonville to support NMFS's coastal fishing industry mission. The space must meet government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards, and cannot be located in a 100/500 year flood plain. Expressions of Interest are due by February 28, 2024, at 5:00 PM EST, with an estimated occupancy date of November 1, 2025. Potential lessors must comply with telecommunications prohibitions outlined in Section 889 of the FY19 National Defense Authorization Act and submit site control documentation with their Expression of Interest.

The solicitation does not specify a set-aside designation and does not indicate a specific award value or budget range. The lease term is proposed for 180 months, with a firm term of 120 months, and will include three surface parking spaces. The geographical coverage area for this office is extensive, spanning from Brunswick, GA to Titusville, FL, which emphasizes the strategic importance of the location. Key contact personnel include Jason Lichty from Savills Inc. for Expressions of Interest and Keitra Harris as the Lease Contracting Officer. The procurement is classified under NAICS category 531120 for Lessors of Nonresidential Buildings and PSC category X1AA for Lease/Rental of Office Buildings, indicating a standard commercial leasing process for a federal agency.
