Update #2 · Latest ·

The response date for this notice is extended indefinitely. The intent of this procurement action is to make a sufficient number of awards to provide service coverage to the described geographic areas. While we will begin the process if issuing BPA's, we will continue to accept submittals from interested parties until a sufficient number of agreements have been issued. Interested vendors should review the attached solicitation document for submittal instructions.

Update #1 ·

The USDA Forest Service, Pacific Northwest Region, intends to establish a number of Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA's) with vendors interested in providing facilities maintenance services at various locations throughout Region Six (Oregon and Washington). The types of services to be covered by any issued BPA would include but is not limited to: general building maintenance, construction and carpentry; roofing repair and replacement; electrical wiring; HVAC system replacement and construction; plumbing services; and building demolition.

Project locations will include both Forest Service and PNW Research Station facilities throughout Region Six. The region will be divided in the six zones and BPA holders will have the ability to select which zone(s) they intend to cover. Once a sufficient number of BPAs are issued to cover a zone, project work may be competed amongst the BPA holders using the simplified procedures for Blanket Purchase Agreements outlined in FAR 13.303.

The solicitation used to establish the initial group of BPA holders will be issued via this web site on or about May 14, 2015. The solicitation will be set-aside 100% for small businesses. The applicable NAICS is 236220 with a corresponding size standard of $36.5 million. The initial solicitation will result in a limited number of awards intended to meet short term needs while providing adequate geographic coverage. The number of BPA holders may be adjusted over time to ensure there is sufficient coverage for the purchases being made.

All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to receiving a BPA. Lack of registration in SAM on the part of the offeror will render an offeror ineligible. Offerors may obtain information on the registration and annual confirmation requirements via the internet at http://www.sam.gov//.
