About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is soliciting quotes for the procurement of 350 units of EPDM synthetic rubber hose assemblies, specifically part number 20026980 manufactured by Continental Frontier Hose. These hose assemblies are designed for tool air applications with specifications including 1/2" inner diameter, 50-foot length, and 300 PSI working pressure rating. The hoses must be fully coupled, assembled, tested, and packaged with 70 units per fiberboard box, with each box properly marked with stock number, quantity, and contract number. This urgent solicitation requires electronic submission through SAM.gov or email/fax submission to be considered responsive, and contractors must complete applicable boxes in clause 52.204-24. The solicitation was issued on July 24, 2025, with an extremely tight deadline requiring offers to be submitted by 12:00 PM on July 25, 2025.

This procurement is designated as a total small business set-aside, restricting competition to qualified small business concerns. While no specific incumbent contractors are mentioned, the solicitation specifies Continental Frontier Hose as the brand name manufacturer, though brand name or equal products may be considered with proper approval including specific requirements such as a bleeder ball check in the hose stem connector. The solicitation does not specify the total contract value or budget range for this procurement. The required delivery date is November 21, 2025, with performance taking place at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington. The procurement falls under NAICS code 326220 for Rubber and Plastics Hoses and Belting Manufacturing and PSC code 4720 for Hose and Flexible Tubing.
